Düsseldorf is well known as an important international commercial and cultural hub, but research and science also play a key role in the city – as the Night of Science proved for the fourth time already in 2022. A packed event marquee and long queues at the entrance to the Haus der Universität: The Night of Science 2022 was also a great success, attracting – as in 2019 – around 10,000 visitors. More than 55 programme items on offer at info stands and in the form of presentations, panel discussions and fun interactive activities explained selected research projects in an easy-to-understand way and brought them to life for visitors.
